About

Established in 1998

I’m Cris Warren, a carpenter based in Alton. I have been working with wood since 1998 and set up Alton Woodworks to provide a reliable local service for homeowners.

Over the years, the work has covered a wide range of carpentry and joinery projects, with a strong focus on repairing rotten and damaged timber. This includes windows, doors, frames, sills, and conservatory woodwork.

Over 25 years of experience

Before setting up Alton Woodworks, experience was gained working for a well-known maintenance company in Aldershot, Hampshire.

That background provided a broad understanding of domestic repair and building work, which continues to inform the way jobs are approached today.

Care, quality, and attention to detail

Care is taken with every job, from small repairs to larger projects. Work is carried out properly, kept tidy, and finished to a standard that lasts.

Matching existing details and respecting the style of the property is always a priority, particularly when carrying out repair work.

Friendly, reliable service with fair pricing is at the heart of Alton Woodworks. No job is too small, and every enquiry is welcome.
